In this episode of Two Guys on a Porch, Jason and Bradford crack open some truly legendary bottles —: Old Fitzgerald 19 Year, 13 Year, and the crown jewel, the Very Very Old Fitzgerald. Distilled in 1957 at Stitzel-Weller under the watchful eye of Pappy Van Winkle himself and bottled in bond in 1969, this rare pour offers a sip of bourbon history — back when wheat first replaced rye in the mash bill to create the smooth profile we treasure today.

The Old Fitzgerald 13-Year-Old Bottled-in-Bond 25th Anniversary Edition, released in 2024, has garnered significant acclaim in the whiskey community. Notably, it was awarded the title of "World's Best Bourbon" at the 2025 World Whiskies Awards.  Excellence!

And speaking of excellence, they light up a smoke worthy of the moment: the Padron 1964 Anniversary Series and the 50th Anniversary Series. Introduced in 1994 to celebrate Padron’s 30th anniversary, the 1964 uses all-Nicaraguan tobacco aged four years before rolling. The 50th, released in 2014 to mark half a century of Padron, continues the tradition of deep Nicaraguan flavor and rich craftsmanship — just like the bourbon in their glass, it’s aged, bold, and unforgettable.
